Synopsis
Five lives. One city. Endless hustle.
In the chaotic heartbeat of Lagos, a street hawker, a weary banker, an ambitious student, a calculating politician, and a restless musician each chase their own version of survival. From dusty roadside stalls to glittering boardrooms, from back-alley deals to political games, their worlds collide under the city’s unrelenting grind. This is not just a story of dreams and struggle. This is Lagos, raw and unfiltered. Shine your eyes.

Heart wrenching, alright, but a straightforward and raw picture of how dream cities do not always respond to the dreams of those who migrate searching for a better life. The untold stories of those who didn't have the goddess of fortune smile on them.
I couldn’t put it down.
The way the five characters’ lives intersect is so organic, you feel the city breathing through every scene. The street hawker’s resilience? Heartbreaking and inspiring. The banker’s slow unraveling? Painfully relatable. And the musician’s restless energy practically hums off the page.
What really stood out was the authenticity no gloss, no exoticizing. This is Lagos as lived: chaotic, electric, exhausting, and alive.
Lagos Nights really ties up neatly but part of me selfishly wanted just a *little* more breathing room in the ending. That said, the open threads lingered with me for days… which is maybe the point.
Only listened to chapter 1 so far and I’m already hooked! Unto the next one!
